Regardless what marketing efforts your school employs; word-of-mouth (WOM) is the most powerful!  And a lot of your school’s identity flows from WOM caused by how your staff interact with students, parents, and the wider school community.

But staff can’t build positive WOM to support your school’s identity, if they are unaware of what identity the school is trying to create.
